Medical wires hair due

I have routine tests that I do for my epilepsy one of these tests is called an EEG. This is a test they do in the hospital well they can do it out of the hospital as well. The doctors like it to be in the hospital instead because it is more accurate. When you do the test you get a bunch of wires all over your head! The glue that they use to put the electrodes on smells awful and it is so hard to get out of your hair! When you are in the hospital they normally sleep deprive you and take you off all your seizure medications. They will have you breathe really fast nonstop for 5 minutes and put strobe lights in your face. None of that is fun at all I hate it. The reason they do all of this is that they want you to have a seizure. The doctors can see brain waves in this test and it helps with your treatment. The test is torture I always tease saying that they are breaking the 8th amendment. Every time I got this test in the hospital I would be there 3 to 5 days. I would ask for my dad to be there but he would always make excuses not to have to go up to the hospital. One of his famous lines was well I can not come because of my work truck. Here is the thing I was laying in a hospital bed hooked up to wires. I was sleep-deprived and so stresses because there were doing everything in the world to make me have a seizure. The child life specialist would come in and bring me crafts to do and games. They even brought me an exercise bike in and a Wii or an xbox360. They kept me busy but still it was hard staying up till 3 am and waking up at 6 am. I was not allowed to leave my room so it was difficult. The hospital held activities for patients and parents to get out of there room. The thing was because of the floor I was on which is the EMU floor which is the epilepsy monitoring unit. I was not allowed to go, but they would bring the activities and the goodie bags up to the EMU floor so we weren't completely left out. This was cool to have them bring things up to us and people could come and visit of course. I was young and it was hard on me the thing is it is still hard on me to do EEG because it is a very lengthy and hard test. I wanted my dad but he would never come and see me. What a dad right I know you are thinking worlds greatest dad right well wrong lol. Keep in mind his baby daughter youngest child was in the hospital but he did not care. My mom was with me and friends would come and my aunt was always stopped by and see me.
